Tom Becket is the author of the Celestine Courbet crime thriller and mystery series set in the stunning location of South West France.

Living here with his wife and energetic spaniel, Tom draws his stories out of the rich history and colourful landscapes of this beautiful, unspoilt region of France. He writes about authentic characters in conflict who inspire affection and concern in the reader. His research for the novels encourages him to discover the fascinating history of local towns and cities and the rich culture of the inhabitants. You will often find him outdoors, walking the long-distance footpaths and cycling along the towpaths of the French Canals.

Tom taught English and ran his own company for many years before committing to writing fiction full-time. He invites you to join him in discovering the mysterious and fascinating France described in his novels.
